Christmas

Is supposed to be a happy time, right? Not for me this year. I can't really get myself in the spirit because I'm unable to purchase gifts for anyone. I know what you're thinking though 'Christmas isn't about gift giving, it's about family'. To me those two things kind of come hand in hand, especially when you have Nieces and a Nephew to buy for. 

My town is usually cram packed with snow by this time in the season, but it isn't. There's hardly any snow on the ground, but it's freezing cold out (depending on the week, because sometimes it's very mild out which doesn't allow snow fall), but today there was tiny little hail balls coming down rather than snow. What the fuck?! 

We've yet to get a Christmas tree so I haven't been able to leap into the decorating as of yet, which might just boost my spirit into enjoying this seasons joyful crap. 

Let's face it, being poor in December is the most awful feeling you could have. Just knowing you aren't going to be able to do anything for anyone besides maybe buy them a card - which I don't even think I can afford. So depressing. 

Guess all you can really do is keep your chin up and hope for a Christmas miracle... because like they say, good things happen to good people. Or is it bad things happen to good people? Whichever, Merry Christmas-ish!
