Photography?
I don't really think I have ever shared my photography with anyone who reads this (I know people do because there are over 700 views on my blog) but I have decided I would leave a link in this blog post to my Viewbug page in case anyone is interested in seeing some of my work, wanting to purchase a print of something, or has their own Viewbug account and simply wants to gain a follower.
Basically, photography has been an interest of mine for a really long time. About 4 years ago I went through with a photography course, which was for film cameras only. It was quite the experience considering I had never used an actual film camera before -- I mean, I had used film camera in the form of a disposable , but never a professional one -- and since I didn't own one of the sorts, my Father went out and bought me one.
I still didn't really know how to fully use it and it wasn't until farther into the course when I started to learn things about the camera and how it would all work. I also started learning about how to create your own dark room, and when the best and worse time of the day is to take photographs outside.
After that course, my interested hit an all time high. I was taking pictures of basically everything and anything I thought was interesting. I spent almost every day taking over 100 pictures, uploading, editing and admiring. After about a year, my interest slowly decreased due to the fact I was getting bored / frustrated with using film.
It was usually one thing after another with the camera, soon I gave up and sold it for a very cheap price to someone that preferred film over digital.
I stopped photography for a very long time, the only way I would take photographs was if I was sitting around and my dog or cat did something cute. I never picked up a good camera, I never uploaded photos to any form of social media site or photography site.
Only recently I started uploading my photos for others to see. I want to get feedback on some of my work, both negative and positive, so that I can improve my skills. I also want to gain advice from people who have been doing it much longer than I have, and whom have far more experience and knowledge in the field.
I hope that one day my work will be recognized on the sites I upload them too, and people will enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
